Eighth-grade scholars and families, please plan to attend at least one High School Planning Night between February 11-18, 2026.

These events provide valuable information to help scholars learn about the unique offerings and school culture of each high school and will promote a smooth and informed transition to the scholars’ next step in learning.

High School Planning Nights allow 8th grade scholars and families:

Successfully navigate the transition from middle school to high school
Learn what to expect from course offerings
Engage with high school staff and scholars
Hear about opportunities to prepare for college and career!

*Scholars can attend any High School Planning Night. However, to be considered to attend a different high school than your assigned neighborhood school, you must submit a Choice Application between February 2-March 16, 2026. Learn more about Choice Enrollment at www.fwps.org/choice.
